No matter what, I will write.
You’ve probably noticed that I haven’t been writing as much this month. I thought about waiting until December and then posting about how I was boycotting blogging because I think National Blog Post Month/National Novel Writing Month are ridiculously stupid. I refuse to justify either phrase’s stupid abbreviation by writing them down. If you can’t write out the entire title of the month celebrating your hobby and your hobby is writing, get a new hobby.
In all seriousness, I have been going through one of those months where everything seems overwhelming and after staring at a computer all day, the last thing I want to do is stare at a computer at home. However, throughout all the stress and bullshit that this month has brought, I have slowly begun to regain a sense of myself. I miss writing. And not just on here, but in the random notebooks hidden in drawers and corners all over the house. For years ideas have come and go and more often than not I’ve let them fly by without writing them down, whether it is because of lack of time or lack of confidence in my own ideas I’m not sure. What I am sure of is that I’m not happy in my career. I’m not even sure if I want what American’s define as a career. I do know one thing- I love to write.
From now on, no matter what, I will write. It may sound stupid or be irrelevant, but I will write. Who knows, some of it may end up on here. If it does, don’t be shy to tell me if it sucks. Or if it’s awesome. Writers thrive on feedback.
On that note, I’m interested in what you guys want to see here. More cosplay? More movie and product reviews? Without readers, we would just be screaming in to space, so your opinions matter. Let us know what you think!

I’d throw journals at you…like literal, hard, journals. At your head. But, it sounds like you already have them. If staring at a computer is overwhelming, then use a notepad and pen. Go old fashioned. Then type later, once it works on paper. I will write the shittiest blog ever into wordpress, and then it just works in my journal. So I keep a notebook in my bag, one on my desk…everywhere. I’d keep one in the shower, probably, if I could. I seem to do my best “writing” in there.
Whatever you write, I hope you get back into it. Do what you love. No matter where it takes you.
Threatening people on the internet, no matter how innocuous it may seem, isn’t cool and invalidates anything else that comes after it.
You should dictate stuff to Erik and make him do the typing!
I’m in this space now. But we’ve been going post a day for the better part of two years now, so I think slowing down doesn’t hurt 🙂
