A Look Back at National Writing Month…

At the beginning of the month, I set myself a modest goal. Write one post every weekday for the month of November, although I probably should have clarified “weekday” didn’t include the holiday. I missed three days of the month. Not great, but not horrible either.

I had assumed the reason I didn’t update the blog like I used to was because I was dedicating time to other hobbies (and home projects). An assumption that’s mostly correct. I was able to make time to write, mostly on the weekends, but the time was still there.

The point of this exercise for me was to make writing a habit again. I’m still not there, but I’m certainly closer than I was. And hitting one post a week won’t seem so daunting now. Especially when I have to look at a blank box in my bullet journal every week.
