The times, they are a changin’…

Every time I post these days it seems to start with “wow it’s been a long time….” I have a lot to say, but am still working on how I want to communicate it with the world. (And by world I mean our 12 readers. Hi 12 readers. You’re fabulous and we appreciate you.) Ever since completing my yoga training, I’ve been spending a lot more time outside, and feel closer to being me than I have in years. For the first time in a long time, I’ve been exploring what I want to do; what makes11245438_10102688239648198_657670168_n (1) me happy, and what makes me, me. For the first time in a long time, i feel like I’m growing. And it’s an amazing feeling.

There’s been a lot of change in our lives in the last couple of months. From deaths in the family  to starting new jobs, it’s definitely been the season of change. In the midst of this, I acquired my great-grandfather’s banjo. seems a little silly, right? But in the process of finding a place for it, I started to think of its history. How many people have heard its music…how many people have touched its strings…and how many people have been changed by its presence in their lives.  Seems silly, I know. But it got me thinking about my effect on the world and the opportunities I’ve been given. As a yoga teacher, in my new job… Not everyone has the chance to truly make a change in the world. And I want to take full advantage of it.

I’ve spent a lot of time working on myself. And now I’m ready to share what I’ve been working on with you. Stay tuned geek warriors. It’s a whole new Claire coming at ya.
