Claire’s Top 5 Things on the Internet: Packing Procrastination Edition
I’ve been packing my house for weeks. I swear I don’t think we have that much stuff for three people, but the boxes in my living room beg to differ. In the name of packing procrastination, I give you the top five awesome things on the internet that have been distracting me from packing my 20th box of books!*
5. The Most Annoying People on the Plane starring Sir Patrick Stewart. Thank you, Jimmy Kimmel, for all the ridiculousness you bring us.
4. The Price is Right Announcer eats it on a treadmill. Pro tip kids: Don’t run on a treadmill backwards on national television. It will never lead to good things.
3. Forget Google maps, I want a sea turtle. Magnetic navigation couldn’t come in a more adorable package! In the words of Bill Nye- Science Rules!
2. Get ready for your close up Pluto. Science doesn’t think you make a good planet, but we can still be friends.
1. Google will be testing their modular smart phone in Puerto Rico in the second half of 2015. I really want this to be a thing that’s awesome, but I can’t shake the feeling that it will end up in the tech graveyard with Google Glass and HD DVDs.
Bonus!
The Oscar nominations are out. I’m shamelessly obsessed with awards shows, no matter how self-indulgent and stupid they are. Red carpets are my snarky Christmas! Hop on Twitter follow @Pure_Geekery on Oscars night for my live action color commentary!
*I wasn’t kidding about the books.
During my last move I got my book box down to 5 and my movie box down to 6… Tetris has taught me a great deal.
Haha I think we’re at 20 and that doesn’t include the Geekling’s books. We have a problem. But hey, It’s an awesome problem to have!
My dad is a packing Tetris master. He’s tried to teach me his skills, but I haven’t made it to his level yet.
Yeah I think we’re at 20 boxes of books and movies and that doesn’t include the Geek;ling’s stuff. It a fabulous problem to have! 🙂

Thought my first comment got lost in the Matrix. Apparently not. Oh well! 🙂
Good list!
Thanks!
