Claire’s Happiness Project: Fortune Cookie Psychology

While Carrie Bradshaw ascribed thoughts of karma to the fortune cookie school of psychology, I’ve always been a big believer that you get Happiness Projectwhat you give. It’s been the driver behind everything I’ve done, and I’m starting to wonder- is life really a boomerang? Is there really a driving force that brings good back to those who are good themselves. If there is no karma, then why try so hard? Why work our asses off in hopes of a payoff that may never be there? Is there any hope that we control what comes back to us. Or do we just have to do our best and let the chips fall where they may?

There’s been a point in time when we’ve all come face to fair with the unfairness of karma. The universe has a perverse sense of humor and I’ve been slowing learning to laugh along with it. There comes a point where you have to stop doing everything in hopes of a payoff and start living in the moment. And I’m going to do just that. It’s time let go of the nagging karmic anxiety and let the chips fall where they may. Because you never know what’s right around the corner.
