It’s almost summer. Almost. I mean, it has to be right? Don’t remind me it snowed here in Indy earlier this week. This has been the longest winter I can remember and I just can’t wait for it to be time to lounge by the pool with some SPF 50 and an umbrella. I’ve been spending the last few months working on my summer playlist and browsing swimwear. And right now, there are some awesomely geek chic swimsuits, towels, and pool accessories at ModCloth.
Finally, a way for science nerds to represent poolside. This bikini is super cute, but I am a little bummed out that ModCloth say what molecule is represented here. There has to be someone out there reading this who knows, right?
When it get’s a little closer to summer, and opening up the pool at our new house, I’m buying this. I’ve been wanting to try one of ModCloth’s one-pieces for a little while now, but couldn’t justify the cost with how little I actually swim. But now the stars have aligned (pun intended), and they have this amazing spacy print when I’ll be swimming a lot (or at least reading by the pool with a cocktail a lot).
I have to admit, I’m one of those who thinks the Doctor Who merch has jumped the shark. It’s getting a bit ridiculous at this point. That being said, there is still the occasional product that is solid and makes sense. The “Doctor’s Orders” towel from ModCloth is one of those awesome products that can get lost in a sea of junk.
Except for the hottest Indiana days, I’m freezing when I get out of the pool. So normal coverups really don’t do it for me. So the idea of a robe I can wrap around myself as I warm back up is super appealing to me.
And lastly, you’re going to need a bag to carry all your stuff to and from the pool in (plus, to hide your beer). ModCloth has several bags from Out of Print but this Gatsby one is my favorite.
